Center Community Webinar: Children and Grief – Beyond the Basics

Join us for a deeper dive into supporting children, parents, and caregivers when the serious illness or death of a family member or close relationship happens. We will highlight the impact of grief and loss for children and families during the pandemic and share strategies to deepen meaningful conversations in supporting grieving children.

The goal of this webinar is to provide a deeper understanding of the complexities of children’s losses within the context of their environment, and how to support them as they move through grief, loss, and change.

Panelists will include Center staff members Janice Zurlo, York County Coordinator, Jamie Schwellenbach, Tender Living Care Program Coordinator, and Marie Sheffield, Intercultural Peer Support Training Specialist. Mary Bristil, Assistant Director of Bereavement Services here at the Center will be moderating the event.
