Peer Support, using well-trained volunteers, offers an economically feasible approach to working with young people, families, and the community in many different settings and programs. Join us and learn through hands on -experience how to make the Volunteer Peer Support Model work for your organization while you enjoy a week of self-care and nurture in beautiful Portland, Maine! Friday, October 24th, 2008 When illness enters, predictability leaves. Learn how to develop or further your work with families facing illness. Our 13 years of experience has taught us that flexibility and patience are what is most helpful at this time. We have learned how to "ride the waves with families."
